1. God never authorized prisons, except to hold suspects on trial.
2. Putting criminals in prison only delays crime, the majority of ex-cons commit crimes again.
3. The prisons don't correct the crimnal's problem or thinking, Prison ministries help in this area but are not always authorized.One can't argue that people get saved from being ministered to while in prison so we need prisons, this is like saying we need to keep the strip joints open so that the preacher who preaches outside of these places will be effective.
4. When you put bad people with other bad people the result is worse. Criminals don't teach other criminals how to be righteous people. Prison is school for criminals, they generally learn how to better execute their crimes.
5. Prisons cost Billions of dollars, the victim of a crime not only is hurt by the crime but they must pay, through taxes, for the the offender to have clothing, food, medicine, doctors, recreation/entertainment (including , and other wicked material). Also the prison staff must be paid and the buildings kept up. Prisoners can get a an eduacation on the taxpayers dollars.
6. The guards are effected daily and are influenced by criminals,being subject to vulgarity insults harrassment and even becoming criminals themselves.
7. When prisoners leave they often are out of place and do not know how to get a job, or have the skills for one therefore they turn back to crime.
8. Criminals who, say stole a car, when their child is 8,9 10 (or any age) can leave the child Fatherless/Motherless for several years. Thus the child does not receive the proper training in life (bad parents are usually better than none). The child's potential to become a criminal greatly increases.

Crime must be dealt with God's way. Criminals should only be convicted when 2 or 3 witnesses prove they are guilty (not by a jury or judge) witnesses include solid evidence such as video, photos, fingerprints, DNA, and Eye witnesses. Jesus said that the majority will take the wide path, therefore the majority are Evil. A jury decides by a majority opinion which can be correct at times but often wrong.

Thieves must pay restetition ( give back what was stolen and also pay the same amount to the victim , not to the Government)

Corporal punishment should be used upon those who hurt others and to those who refuse to pay restitution.

Adulterers, Murderers,Sodomites, Kidnappers all must be executed Swiftly (within 24 hours of conviction)

Swift execution, or flogging considers not only the Criminal and the victim but considers all people who could become a one. People generally will reconsider a crime if they knew death was around the corner for them. Similar to the saying theyre are not atheists in foxholes. These executions or floggings should be made public and put on TV. Potential Criminals need to fear the government.

As of June 30th 2006 1,556,518 there is prisoners in the United States

*According to the murderers themselves 1 million unborn children are murdered every year, there are more including those killed by abortifacients.

Thats 4,000 a day. The number of fatalities in the Sept.11 terrorist attack was 2973, also as of March 21 2008 their have been 3993 deaths of Americans fighting in Iraq. 730,8000 children have been murdered in that same time span, 1887 days.

*Keep in mind that these are offenses where someone was convicted, how many more were not reported?

Prison is a joke. A tragic one.
